Mass Production!
Over the summer, I had my first three sister's feltie for sale at the book shop I was working at. A woman came in one day and requested that I make three of these for her. I finally got around to starting them last night on a large scale. I had to actually order in felt because the felt I used for the original was no longer available! The felt is slightly a darker colour, but it looks excellent! I can hopefully be done these in the next couple days and ship them to her by the end of the week!
Wee Scarf!
I made this for a previous co worker instead of a feltie, because she has her own special stuffed animal named Lenny! So I decided to make him a delish accessory! This is the second complete thing I've ever knitted. I just used a basic knit, as I have not yet mastered any other stitch. I made the L's out of felt and put one on each end of the scarf, with a mirrored L on the back. And the recipient's name stitched into one of them.
So many L's!
Modeled on my Build-A-Bear frog!

Bar of Felt Chocolate!
Awesome!
Chocolate Bar!
Wrapper without bar inside of it.
Back of wrapper. Buttoned up! I realized, only after the fact, that there were much better ways to put the wrapper together. But live and learn, I suppose.
I stitched the recipient's name onto the bottom corner.
Chocolate peeking out! I just realized I didn't get a picture of just the chocolate bar. But I made a simple rectangular wire frame for him and stitched on a wee face and seems where squares of chocolate would be!
Finished product! Chocolate bar & wrapper! Constructed from felt!

Secret Project 2!
Crash Course in Sewing Machine Education
My mom bought me a sewing machine as my moving out gift! It's awesome, except I have no idea how to use it. A couple weeks ago I sat down and taught myself the basics.
This was the most solid thing that came out of that day. Whale. There was a much less succesful whale before him. He got canned. Haha.
I do enjoy this whale, as he is pretty awesome. He serves now as a pincushion and perhaps I shall make a more refined version of him one of these days.
