Secret Project 2!

OOOoooo!! So Secret!
I'm doing this one by hand and not with the sewing machine, because at this point its actually FASTER to hand stitch it. I'd end up wrecking like... 7 of them by using a sewing machine.

Crash Course in Sewing Machine Education

My mom bought me a sewing machine as my moving out gift! It's awesome, except I have no idea how to use it. A couple weeks ago I sat down and taught myself the basics.

This was the most solid thing that came out of that day. Whale. There was a much less succesful whale before him. He got canned. Haha.

I do enjoy this whale, as he is pretty awesome. He serves now as a pincushion and perhaps I shall make a more refined version of him one of these days.

Oranges, Sir!

These photos were terrible. I did them in a hurry and we are all aware that haste makes waste. I made this for my dear friend Lauren as a late birthday gift. She told me her favorite colour was orange, and her favorite fruit, an orange. So, I made an orange orange with a mustache. The original plan was to include a monacle, which I tried for hours to construct, but alas, I was unable. Lauren's name is tramp-stamped in cursive on his back lower regions.

I was trying to develop a small, cost effective thing. These are them. Super boring though, haha.
