Odd & Ends

I've had some spare time lately because it's been extra slow at work, so I've made a set of new felties, but I shall post those later! Here are some miscellaneous happenings.

Here is my gorgeous Weston Cinemeter. I don't know how to use it yet, but it's definitely on my list of things to conquer this summer! Sometimes I feel horrible that I have all this equipment, but not the wherewithal to use it. In time, I suppose.

Here's most likely the last three sisters feltie I will ever construct. It was a fun idea while it lasted, but I love making new things too much! This one here was specially ordered, so I made an exception. Hopefully the buyer loves their mountainous feltie!

Creature 002!

A new feltie is up on Etsy! Creature 002! A bat-licious felt creation! He didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but I think he's still pretty awesome! I love the colours of the felt I used. Delish!

My garden!

It's sort of a pathetic garden, but I like it. Whatever.

This is the deal I've got going on my patio.

What my plants look down over each and every day!

Favorite things!

Hello all, I've been plenty busy with work and school and all, so the favorite things have been piling up like nobody's business. So here's a few, maybe I'll post more later. Tada!

1. This delish bird ceramic tea set! See it in the Flikr photostream here.

2. The best Escher I've seen yet! Crabs!! Lots and lots of crabs!! See this and other wonderful collections of art here, at Thypott Art.com.

3. How to dehybernate. Via Cute Overload.

Just a taste of my internet findings for now! I spend far too much time surfing the web... I should be stitching! I've got loads and loads of patterns to get started in on! I'm also super excited for my super fantastic basement I'll be starting to nest in come the end of June. A whole space to myself! I'm going to have a sewing table and a film cutting table and a drawing table and EVERY OTHER KIND OF TABLE IMAGINABLE. There are also going to be plants, a lot of plants. And my projectors are going to be on stands. I cannot wait!! Gwee!

Tata for now.

Mother's Day flower

My mom came to visit for my film interview on the 7th and it was pretty close to Mothers Day, so I made her this felt flower, which I then pinned onto a large planter that I filled with dahlias, bacopa, marigolds and this weird cascading yellow leafed plant. I neglected to take a photo of it because she arrived an hour earlier than I expected her to and things were... shall we say, rushed. Haha.

Creature 001's departure!

And away he goes to his new home in Canmore!!

I made a little name tag to go with him, and I think I'll need to continue this trend, because I love it! I have SO many more creatures planned! It's going to be a blast making them!
